Hello dear friends.

Do you remember me?!? We have met in April this year and I was beautiful then, because as you know, deafness doesn’t affect beauty.

Maja and Dejan found me on a Christmas tree, I was screaming really loud – they didn’t know then that I was deaf, so they were worried about my loud meowing. They were also wondering what am I doing on a tree? Because of that tree I was named Jelkica (eng. Christmas tree - srb. Jelka). They rescued me from that tree and saw the wound I had on my neck. They took me to the vet and decided to foster me until I got better. One nice person from Germany also wanted to adopt me.
 But things got complicated. I started to scratch all over my body and open wounds started to show up. I was treated for fleas but I got allergy from Spot On. My two rescuers took care of me, took me to various vets, even to Faculty of Veterinary where I was diagnosed with food alergy. Then a wonderful woman from Greece contacted us and financilly help me to get better – THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN DEAR GEORGIA TSITSINAKI. Because of that diagnosis, I was eating some horrible and really expensive food for two months, my rescuers provided it for me. But I wasn’t feeling any better... I was scratching and scratching...

We also tried homeopathy, that couldn’t hurt me but it didn’t help either. Finally I was taken to see my first vet, Dr. Ruzic, who decided to treat me for flea allergy. Kitties like me start to scratch after only one bite and open wounds show up. I was treated with Prednisone for two months and this therapy was helpful, and so much tastier than my lest treatment, because I got my pills rolled up in meat. And what is more tastier for a cat than fresh meat!!! Here is me now after my therapy!

I am all pretty again and ready to be adopted!
