On September 9th 2013 a mixed Norwegian Forest cat named Mica came to the shelter. Her story is very sad, as are all of the stories of abandoned cats.
Her ex-owner brought her in 2007 from the Republic of Macedonia to Belgrade. Mica lived with her owner for five and a half years. She fell from the second floor twice and she was neutered when she was four years old, after she had countless stressful heats.
Her owner went abroad in the beginning of 2013 and left her alone in the apartment. The neighbours fed Mici and cleaned her litter box, but she was alone for five months. For some reason, the owner didn't bring the cat with her and after five months she decided to fulfill all of the terms and place her in the shelter.
We added the word Mazal to Mica's name (it means luck), so she would have some in her further life.
Today is Mazal one lucky cat. She had accepted her new friends in the shelter, although she needed a little more time, because she is quite temperamental. She is very playful. Her fur is soft like silk, her eyes are indescribably beautiful, light green. She is looking for home full of love ant attention.
She tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
